Imperial Care Homes Ltd is a small family-run company based in North Norfolk, which provides high quality residential care for the elderly. There are currently three care homes within the Imperial group, Field View Residential Home in Fakenham and Scarborough House Residential Home at Wells next the Sea, with a third, Letheringsett Hall near Holt.




The company was first established in 1991 and since its formation has expanded under the management of directors Laura Smith RGN and Steve Smith. Imperial Care Homes has been awarded the accredited Investors in People award and it is the policy of the company to train all staff and maintain training throughout their employment to achieve the highest standards of care.






All homes have managers with City and Guilds Management in Care qualifications and certification in various aspects of caring for the elderly. Also, the managers are trained as NVQ assessors which enables them, in turn, to train and assess the staff they employ - up to and including NVQ Level Three.


Imperial Care Homes are also members of the Norfolk Care Homes Association which has standards which must be met and maintained to ensure continued membership.
